Level 3 Award in Designing Exercise Programmes for Older Adults
This Active IQ qualification aims to provide learners with the knowledge and skills required to design and adapt programmes to meet the needs of older adults. The learner must hold either a Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing, Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training, Level 3 Diploma in Exercise Referral, Level 3 Diploma in Teaching Yoga or a Level 3 Diploma in Instructing Pilates Matwork or equivalent.
The learner must complete:
- Unit 1: Physical activity and health considerations for the older adult
- Unit 2: Designing and adapting exercise programmes for the older adult
This qualification is online e-assessed by:
- Portfolio of evidence

Refund Policy: No refunds will be given after 28 days from the date of purchase of the course. In the event that a refund is granted, the course deposit of 10% of the total fees will be deducted from the monies returned to you. Any course materials or electronic hardware must also be returned to PLATINUM Training Institute in saleable condition. If the materials are deemed not fit for resale, further deductions may be made from monies to be refunded.
