B2B PR, technology and fitness specialist, PR Agency One, has been appointed by award-winning booking management platform, fibodo, to bolster the company’s brand awareness amongst key UK stakeholders.
The platform provides professionals with time-based businesses, such as personal trainers, everything they need to successfully and efficiently manage their businesses – from taking real-time bookings and securing payments through fully-customisable apps and web pages to providing them with the tools they need to grow. This signifcantly reduces the number of hours spent on administration tasks each week, maximising the amount of money they can earn delivering client sessions.
Since fibodo was formed in 2014, by former PGA golf professional, Anthony Franklin, it has gained support from industry leaders such as JJB Sports’ former CEO, Tom Knight, and Andrew Fisher and Paul Wright – former CEO and CFO respectively of Coutts Bank. The company has also enjoyed strong growth with revenues increasing by 363% between 2017-18 and 2018-19, and a recruitment drive set to expand the team from 8 to 22 by the end of February 2020.
The company initially targeted the UK fitness industry, and now plans to quickly establish itself within other activity sectors, such as Golf and Tennis, as the UK’s leading booking management platform – a goal PR Agency One will help the company fulfil.
PR Agency One was appointed following a competitive pitch process and will handle fibodo’s public relations output – including media relations and communications support. Led by the consultancy’s experienced business-to-business team, it will focus on raising awareness of fibodo and enhancing the positioning of the brand as a respected tech company.
